Probably the most tourist view painting he did of Venice. We are looking sort of northwest from the lagoon. You can see the Palazzo Ducale and the campanile of San Marco  to the right and the domed Santa Maria della Salute to the left.

Offered by Sothbeys but not sold; 5/27/1999; Lot 110; estimated $50,000-$75,000

The source didn't date this painting but it appears to be line with Venice par temps gris as well as Cafe on the Riva degli Schiavoni The darker ships and more brown tones seems to be in line with 1880/1882
