As you can see,
Millet's signature
in the lower-right corner of his panting appears to be in the correct
alignment.
Why then are both Sargent's and van Gogh's works (reported to be after
Millet's) appear to be horizontally flipped, I don't know. Did Millet
do
more than one of these?
